COVID-19 and our office

We are open for business, accepting new clients, and able to meet in person at our office, subject to certain precautions.  Masks are required for any visitor to our office, and we will all adhere to social distancing.  When you Contact Us, we can provide more information, and ensure you're comfortable visiting us.

Our office is located on Michigan Avenue in Saline. We are one and one half block east of the main intersection in downtown Saline, on the north side of the street. The office is easy to find, with free parking in the back of the office. Our staff is experienced, helpful and cordial and work with our attorneys to ensure prompt, economical delivery of legal services.

We maintain an up-to-date law library. When necessary, we can supplement our research facilities with access to the University of Michigan Law Library and various computer assisted information search services.

We  are committed to the continuing education of all members of our legal service team and attend continuing education courses presented by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Washtenaw County Bar Association, American Inns of Court, and other national continuing legal education organizations.

We subscribe to the highest standards of legal ethics. The relationship between a client, an attorney and the attorney's staff requires complete trust and confidence. Our clients' work is performed in complete confidence. We keep our clients informed of the progress of their case on a regular basis.

In most cases attorney's fees are based on time spent and responsibility involved. For some matters, our firm policy requires an advance payment, known as a retainer, toward the fee. Some work is done on a hourly basis and billed monthly, and for some matters, a fixed fee is appropriate. Some cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, where the fee for legal services is a percentage of the amount of money obtained for the client. An attorney will discuss the fee arrangement with you during your first conference at our law firm.
